This spell allows the casting [class] to inflict disease. When cast the [Class] throws the spell ball and intones the command line "I [NAME] cause disease ", any living creatures struck directly by the spellball becomes clearly and visibly diseased. The effects of disease are as follows: Any creature hit by the spellball cannot receive healing until they have been cured of their disease. Disease may be removed by the 'Cure Disease' spell. This spell causes disease and has no effect if the target is immune to disease. This spell can be used with prayer touch as well.
Spells negated by Disease include Cure Light Wounds, Cure Serious Wounds, and Cure Mortal Wounds. Characters can be Ressurected but will remain diseased until Cure Disease is cast. Disease prevents the normal regeneration of monsters on the standard encounter chart. Elders of the event will determine the effects of this spell on NPCS, characters and monsters.
This spell loses its effects 12 minutes after the death of the target or once they check in to Hades
