yes i tried searching, it didnt yield much of use as to what makes a passing arrow.
But i have made one so far that i think will be fine.
It hurts less/ about the same as my dagger if i stab myself as hard as i can with it.
the head doesnt wobble.
and the softcell doesnt rol.
but i would still like some tips, as i would hate to make a handfull of arrows and bring out them and my bow and be able to use it, especially since the event after this one is roundtree so i...

paper armor

so i watched this documentary about how the chinese would make scale male out of layered paper with hardened resin. it seemed really awesome and fairly easy.. yet time consuming.. they also showed it could stop an arrow! i was wondering what people thought about it? i feel if some one made it it should count as ar 3 providing the scales were as thick as the current gauge for leather

Has anyone ever seen these before?

Leather armor and the weight.

Even though I have a few more events before I can actually wear armor, I have started working on some leather armor for myself. I am having difficulty determining the weight of the leather I acquired. How is hide versus regular armor determined? Does someone have a caliper, is it done by actual weight of the leather, or do the Armor Marshalls eyeball it and guess?

Based on the prices I have seen online, it seems that studded leather can get expensive. Any suggestions for making...

"Where are my pants"

The reason I'm asking this is because I can't seem to find any decent all-weather superheavy-duty pants that look perios enough for Darkon use.

I refuse to wear wrap pants because they don't look right with armor strapped all about them, and also I tend to 'fall out' of them... Please don't use your imagination, you'll go blind.

Does anyone know where I can buy some decent pants, or who can make them, or...

Can anyone tell/show me how to make a quarterstaff? Several members of Nurgle are heading to Badon Hill, a Dag event, and quarterstaves are a lot more effective there because Dag has no "yellow" damage, it's all "white" (OK, it's blue, but you get the point). Anyway, I'm looking for advice on core type and making the striking surface so that it doesn't feel like I'm hitting someone with a brick.
