Time again for marshall applications. Positions available for the coming year are Weapon, Armor, Spell, Costume, Event, and Missle & Seige weapons. Those interested can of course apply for several or all marshall positions should they choose.

so, I have a few Amtgard friends from far away (NM and WI) that are thinking of schelping out this way to try out Darkon and maybe hit one of the MD Amtgard parks. the big question they have is what would be a good weekend to make the trip. they are both looking Aprilish to do it.

We are missing one of Darkon's First Aid Kits. If you are unfamiliar with it's appearance, it's a big yellow suitcase looking thing, with a cross on the side.

It was last seen at the September Campout in New Mordom's camp.

I finally have the time to write to the boards between working and standing in line for internet. I wanted to drop in and say hi to everyone in the realm. Due to my lack of gas money and sometimes a ride, I was wondering if anybody in the Glen Burnie/Severna Park/Pasadena area would be interested and having some biweekly/monthly practices at Tick Neck park. My mom is the president of the soccer organisation around here so she could tell me what days/nights would be best. I think a biweekly thing would be great. A corresponding post regarding IC information has been entered into the IC board.

At 1:45 I will be calling for a ranger from every country to come talk to me, I ask that they not be a ranger who has used their land search for the day, to receive info on the ruins. If you cannot send a ranger, don't worry, not having a ranger isn't terribly punitive.

None of ruins have gates, please do not try to mend the openings in the walls, you will simply lose spell points....

This is the first time i started a new topic, so i figure that this question is a good one (no mater how stupid it sounds). My question is this, why is the name of darkon's message board "darkon's unofficial message board"? It makes me wonder if there is an "official darkon message board" somewhere. If some one could clue me in or just some funny reason that they think it's called that, or both that wood be good too.

Has anyone ever thought of having a channel/server on IRC (Internet Relay Chat) for the Darkon group? I mean,I'm sure there are other LARPing groups that have a server set aside for them. It's real time chat and I have a feeling it'd be easier to ask questions, chat, and even do a little IC stuff. Just a suggestion.

I was able to declare my class at the Roundtree event, and I was told that I need a key by the next event.

So I was wondering... Due to my lack of money and a vehicle now, would I be able to temporarily use my house key on a strong tied around my neck?
